Event Description
The Department of Library and Information Science, Mizoram University, is delighted to invite scholars, LIS professionals, researchers, academicians, technologists, and students from across the globe to participate in the National Conference on “Transforming Libraries from Knowledge Repositories to Intelligent Information Ecosystems: Emerging Trends, Innovation, Social Responsibility and Sustainability” (TLibRIIE-2027), to be held on 17th–18th February 2027 at its beautiful and scenic campus in Aizawl, Mizoram, India.
This conference aims to serve as a vibrant platform for sharing transformative ideas, innovations, and practices that redefine the roles of libraries and LIS professionals in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It will explore how libraries can play a pivotal role in fostering inclusive access to knowledge, preserving cultural heritage and promoting sustainable development, aligned with the national vision of the Indigenous Knowledge System and Viksit Bharat@2047.
