DESCRIPTION:The proposed Science and Technology Metrics (STMet 2024) c
 onference concerns how many metrics may involve the assessment of diff
 erent aspects of science and technology, which are best expressed usin
 g different approaches. Besides the standard conference track and the 
 Doctoral Symposium, STMetrics will host several workshops and tutorial
 s related to the conference’s theme. The workshops provide participa
 nts with a friendly, interactive atmosphere for presenting novel ideas
  and discussing their application of metrics in Science and Technology
  Systems. The tutorials aim to enable the participants to familiarise 
 themselves with theoretical and practical aspects and the application 
 of metrics.\nThe proposed conference consists of invited talks, presen
 tations, tutorials, workshops, and discussions. \nSelected post-confe
 rence modified versions of the papers will be published in the followi
