DESCRIPTION:INFLIBNET is organizing a five days Advanced Training prog
 ramme on Bibliometrics and Research Output Analysis during 2 - 6 Dec 2
 024. The programme will provide the participants a sound overview of b
 ibliometric methods, Bibliometric data sources, data processing and pe
 rformance indicators related to bibliometric analysis and mapping. It 
 will provide awareness about the most commonly used database, how to b
 uild-up relevant indicators and how to interpret the data. Special emp
 hasis will be given to indicators used in research evaluation. Theoret
 ically imparted knowledge will be consolidated with demonstration on v
 arious tools such as Bibliometrix, Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, etc. \nFol
 lowing topics will be covered in the training:\n\nOverview of Bibliome
 trics\nMathematical Foundation of Bibliometrics/Scientometrics\nBiblio
 metrics Tools and Techniques such as Bibliometrix, Biblioshiny, VOSvie
 wer, etc.\nBibliometric Methods for Subject Delineation\nMeasuring Res
 earch Impact\nNetwork Analysis and Visualization\nOpen Research Data: 
 Access, API and Integration\n Advanced Bibliometric Methods for Evalu
 ation, Ranking and Mapping of Research\nBibliometric Indicators and Ra
 nking of University Research Performance\nClarivate Analytics’ Web o
 f Science and Elsevier’s Scopus Databases\n\nThe lecturers are promi
 nent researchers, scientists/professors in the field of bibliometrics.
  \nFee\nRs. 6,000.00 per person without accommodation and\nRs. 10,000
 .00 with accommodation which is inclusive of GST rates.\nIt covers the
  cost of a training programme kit containing training materials and lu
 nch during the training period. The payment should be made through Dem
 and Draft in favour of INFLIBNET Centre payable at Gandhinagar along
  with filled-in registration form. Fee is non-refundable and non-adjus
 table. The Centre also accepts payment by NEFT /RTGS for the training.
