DESCRIPTION:The National Digital Library of India (NDLI), IIT Kharagpu
 r, is pleased to announce that the 4th International Symposium on Know
 ledge Engineering for Digital Library Design (KEDLD-2025) will be held
  from 3rd to 5th November 2025 at IIT Kharagpur. The event is being jo
 intly organized by the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and th
 e Central Library, IIT Kharagpur. NDLI has successfully hosted three p
 revious editions of this symposium, each making a significant contribu
 tion to advancing research and dialogue in the field\nObjectives Of th
 e Symposium\nThe primary objectives of the symposium include:\n\nHighl
 ighting the strategic importance of digital libraries, with a focus on
  the NDLI initiative.\nUtilizing Metadata Engineering techniques for a
 ccessibility of digital resources for diverse communities.\nSharing in
 sights on technical, administrative, and policy dimensions of digital 
 library systems.\nEncouraging international collaboration among digita
 l library stakeholders.\nPromoting smart, open, and interoperable tech
 nologies in library ecosystems.\nShowcasing innovations using AI/ML to
 ols in digital library services.\nFacilitating exchange of best practi
 ces and success stories.\nIdentifying key challenges and deliberating 
 on practical solutions.\n\nCall for Papers\nThe National Digital Libra
 ry of India (NDLI) is pleased to invite researchers, scholars, practit
 ioners, and policymakers to submit their papers for presentation at th
 e international symposium titled \"Knowledge Engineering in Digital Li
 brary Design\". This symposium aims to explore the role of knowledge e
 ngineering in shaping the digital libraries in promoting sustainable d
