Event Description

Talent: It’s high time for LIS researchers to focus on talent management with the objective of influencing library and
information management by addressing the key facets of talent management, such as talent management strategies,
importance of career development, evaluation of talented employees, and organizational resilience. The theme
underscores the need for organizations to adopt proper talent management strategies for establishing creative
environments, promote innovative programming, and engage users in new and exciting ways.

Technology:It is the need of the hour for libraries to adopt latest information communication technologies in the practice
of librarianship to establish connectivity with the users’ community round the clock through social media platforms
transcending beyond the physical space of library through innovative library services to meet the evolving needs of users.
The conference theme delves into groundbreaking approaches to library services, including the implementation of
emerging technologies, data analytics, and the development of user-centric services for ensuring healthy connectivity
with the users by closing the gap of digital divide.

Transformation: Modern library and information science has transcended beyond the conventional practice of storing
and disseminating information and knowledge. Libraries are no longer confined to being mere repositories of books and
documents; they have become dynamic spaces that encourage continuity in adopting latest information technologies into
the practice of librarianship through creativity, innovation and intellectual exploration in a continuous and forwardlooking manner for meeting the timely information needs of students, research scholars, and teachers.
This conference theme serves as a rallying call for the global library community to reflect on its role in society and chart a
course towards a future characterized by talent, technology, and transfer for ensuring innovative services to the users’
community. Participants can anticipate engaging discussions, valuable insights, and collaborative opportunities that will
shape the future of libraries in the 21st century.
