Dear Sam

How you comment like that, can you see the question. If the question is written by Jasmer Singh is right then of-course DSSB making fool the candidates. One think is you know that only the name of the Board is not enough to say that the question is selected by expert is totally correct. Can you seen the question of UGC NET June 2014 question and Answer key given by the UGC Expert on UGC site on 26.08.2014, approximately 25 answer key is wrong. Can you clarify what is this please see the UGC website for your convenience. If you are extra ordinary even then not comment like that. Please feel the emotion of the candidates.

Status of library legislation in India

India attained freedom in 1947 and became a Republic in 1950. For facilitation administrations, it now has a National Capital Region of Delhi, 28 States and 6 Union Territories after Independence. Even before Independence, Kolhapur Princely State, in the Western India passed Public Libraries Act in 1945.

Since independence of India the following States have passed Public Libraries Acts

01. 1948 Tamilnadu 11. 2001 Odisha
02. 1960 Andhra Pradesh 12. 2000 Gujarat
03. 1965 Karnataka 13. 2005 Uttaranchal
04. 1967 Maharashtra 14. 2006 Rajasthan
05. 1979 West Bengal 15. 2006 Uttar Pradesh
06. 1988 Manipur 16. 2007 Lakshadweep
07. 1989 Haryana 17. 2008 Bihar
08. 1989 Kerala 18. 2009 Chattisgarh
09. 1993 Mizoram 19. 2009 Arunachal Pradesh
10. 1993 Goa

So far, only half of the States of the Indian Union have successful passed the library legislation, However, in the coming few years, there is greater possibility for a library law being enacted in the remaining States. Out of these the enactment of Public Library Law at Puducherry State is in the fore front.

mr sam you are totaly wrong exam is below standard and both the question are wrong There are 20 state have library legislation latest Madhya Pardesh 2013

I am also agree that above questions are wrong. So what will the candidate will do regarding this type of mistakes?

when the reult publish?

what will be the cut off marks ??

What about the result guys?

How long it may take especially in the current political turmoil in Delhi Legislation.
