Objective of the Conference

Libraries are the backbone of any organization. In academic environment, the library is called “Heart of the organization”. The success of any academic organization mainly depends on the services and information provided by the libraries. The theme “Excellence in Academic Libraries: Vision for Future” is very vibrant because users now-a-days are showing very mature approach and the queries can not be answered without excellence. Excellence is required in every area of libraries. The goal of the conference is to bring together librarians, information engineers, educators as well as experts and professionals in other related fields to exchange ideas and share research findings about excellence in libraries and come up with Vision for future for achieving the excellence in libraries.

Original papers in English are invited on a theme related to those mentioned below. A national review panel will review the papers based on originality of the work, quality and relevance to the main theme of the conference. Peer reviewed and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published by Aakar Books, New Delhi as an edited book with ISBN.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Papers should be submitted latest by 17th Aug, 2013 mentioning Name/Names of author/authors, their addresses (postal and email), and mobile/phone/fax numbers. The papers will be accepted only through electronic mode and should be mailed to : eial2013ggn@gmail.com.The Paper should be sent in Times New Roman format with one and a half spacing and 12 font sizes with 1 inch along both sides. The length of the paper should not exceed 5000 words. The papers should strictly follow the submission guidelines.
