What is the future of IGNOU Students who are studying by Correspondence?

Is the scope same for correspondence students with that of regular students?

Is correspondence student eligible for Delhi government job?

The students who have obtained B.Lib or M.Lib through Correspondence mode are eligible for Government Job.  For a Govt. Job, the degree must be from a recognised university, and you have to clear the competitive exam.  It does not matter whether it is regular or distance mode.  But, the great concern is that, in Private sector, the employer gives least preference to correspondence students.  M.Lib from IGNOU is better is one is already in govt. job.

yes IGNOU's Degree is valid even in govt jobs

but sir in delhi, DTTE were rejected distance student's form and degree during there recruitment in last week.. than what u said is this,,???

Yes, but some area is not sending admit card , i am try many Govt. some sending but many is not sending.

50-50 response.

why sir? please given me a answer against this response,

yeh, I agree that some private colleges feel that this degree is not valid but as i personally feel  the syllabus books are of international standard and ignou students are well aware with latest technology.so they can get benefit in national level test like UGC NET, and SET exams if they clear it then they prove their ability.and get better chance in national level organisation.

In my opinion I Feels that in this LIS Profession u r working Knowledge and Your Experience should Be Regular Not the B.Lib & M.Lib Degree. whereas talking about IGNOU it is the worlds biggest University in intake of Students and the courses of IGNOU is fully Valid all over the India For any Job opportunity.and the Future of IGNOU students is bright don't Panic do hardwork.

madam i agree with u, but is it right which is clears there M.L.I.Sc degree in distance than they has no future in that career without clear net.

Really it is very unfortunate for library professional. If we clear written text, at the time of interview, they give first preference to regular candidate.

basically IGNOU courses for Govt. Employee so that, complete minimum or maximum qualification for the promotion or further education
