Is it not possible to apply for Deputy Librarian or Librarian post in academic sector who is working in MNC companies apart from having experience in R&D Center, SET Ph.d 

Can anyone highlight the reason

Yes, you can apply.

Even I worked for a corporate company for 4 years. I worked as a 'Library Data Analyst' in Generel Electric Company. I had MLISc degree with KSET as additional qualification.

After 4 years I joined an Aided college as a Librarian. They considered my qualification as well as my education. 

Your Resume, duties and responsibilities also matters. You should include some skills or responsibilities which are relevant to the academic sector.

To be frank, It's very difficult to shift from corporate to academic. Most of the colleges won't consider our experience. But you should be confident and convince the interviewer.

Now I am feeling company was better.
